Let me never justify actions that hurt others or exploit them. Let me never be consumed by greed or clenching tight to what I believe is mine. Let me never view others as less worthy than me. Less of a treasure or a gift to this Earth. Let me never respond equally to unequal treatment. Let me never repay shame for sins.

Release me from old thoughts and beliefs that contradict these pleas. Forgive me in my failure. Wash a new grace over my heart and over my eyes so that I see what You see. Wash my lips with purity and life so that every word spoken is an ember of your love. Keep me guarded in my pursuit of holiness.
Let there be mercy evergreen surrounding my life and my children. Let my existence matter and let my every step be counted as a worthy sacrifice.
